When we were brainstorming the BIG DAY, we both agreed that it should be a destination wedding.  Since we have family scattered all over the country we

DID NOT WANT:

• To have you cooped up in a hotel room
• To see you only on the BIG DAY 
• To spend only a few hours with you to play catch up

WANT:

• To maximize our time with you
• For you to meet and mingle with both the families and friends
• To make memories

Immediately, we thought of Nags Head.  We wanted this to be a vacation for our guests as well, so that's why we will be staying for a week.  

It has many tourist attractions, the beach and great restaurants.  Since the location draws in an immense amount of tourism, we set the date before the peak season sky rocketed the prices for rentals.

Another important factor we wanted was to have the ceremony and reception to be in walking distance from where you would stay so that incase you had an EPIC time, driving would be the least of your concerns!

Our recommendation is to stay with us at Pirate's Cove where they offer vacation rentals for large families or small groups.  They have anything from cozy 1 bedroom waterfront condo's to 7 bedroom houses with private pools and boat slips.

Pirate's Cove is a gated waterfront resort community located  on the Outer Banks of NC nestled between Manteo and Nags Head.

• Partial stays are available with two night minimums.
• Payment plans are available
• Early reservations do not require a deposit; it just allows you to have priority on the condo or home.

The wedding party houses are BALLAST POINT 34 and BALLAST POINT 35.
