We know that internet invites are tacky but for the sake of time, we decided to create an E-vite for those that want to instantly RSVP. You can find the link readily available in the right column of the website and it's called "RSVP online HERE!" You can also click the link below and it will direct you to the E-vite.
Don't worry- formal invitations will be sent shortly but we wanted to get ahead and get a head count on whose coming, their plus ones, if children are attending or if you regretfully decline.
Only 2 more months yall!

Another visit at Pirate's Cove
We have been around the world and back. Okay not around the world but we did go to Nebraska for Christmas and spent New Years in Outer Banks. During our stay, we were lucky to bring friends to Pirate's Cove and show them around. Stepping foot into the resort gets us amped every time!
Here are a few photos of our visit courtesy of Tram :)

Decisions Decisions
It's been awhile but we have been making moves!
We interviewed four photographers in the last three weeks and finally made a decision on one of them. They were all talented, passionate about what they did and had lots of energy.
So who do you choose when all of them are that good? You go with the chemistry or in my case, I tentatively observed Mark out of the corner of my eye as we started the interview. When he started moving around in his seat a lot, has his arms crossed or stopped engaging in conversation, I knew this wasn't going to go well for the photographer.
With Kelly's help, we also found our caterer. We are excited to put together a great menu. Don't worry, we love food and we promise it won't be all grass and tree bark!
Two things down - sooooo many more to go!

SAVE THE DATES
We had been dragging our feet when it came to creating our Save the Dates. All we knew was that we wanted it magnet form. Thank goodness for our wedding planner, Kelly - she suggested magnetstreet.com and we were definitely pleased.
One of the perks with magnetstreet is they let you order an individual save the date so you can get an idea of what you're ordering. Below were the runner ups we ordered to see how they'd look.

This was more of a bookmark. I liked the layout but Mark wasn't a fan. |
Disregard the date on this one - Mark messed it up :) |
Smaller version of magnet. |
In the end we decided on a photo that I found on Facebook that we were tagged in at Cancun.
When the shipment finally came in, I was very excited about the presentation and packaging. Overall, I'd give magnetstreet a 5 out of 5.
What a pretty color! |

Don't we look so cute? |

Updates!
Two things:
- We wanted to clarify the housing arrangements. Ballast Point 34 and Ballast Point 35 are reserved for the wedding party and immediate family, meaning Bride and Groom's parents and grandparents. When making reservations (855-522-7013), Pirate's Cove will assist in setting up your accommodations. So if you would like a house close to Ballast Point 34 and 35, let them know that. Same goes for wanting pet friendly, or sound front, or 2 bedroom condo, or any other specifications you are looking for. Pirate's Cove Reservations will help set that up for you!
Again - the campaign / reservation number is posted above and
if you have any questions, please leave us a comment or give
us a call.
- Incase you haven't heard how we met, we have added a new page called "Our Story" which is from his and her perspective. Check it out!

If you are overwhelmed, no problem! Call the campaign number posted above and tell them your requirements (ie pet friendly, 3 bedrooms, jacuzzi, smoke free, on the sound, close to the wedding party, etc) and they can find the perfect place for you! For more information please visit the Accommodations page on our website.
